4 days Victoria Fall experience

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, you will be met by our representative (outside the arrivals section, please ensure you have your Visas organized in advance) and transferred to Elephants Hills Resort (23km/20mins), where you check-in for overnight.

The Elephant Hills Resort is a 4* property in Victoria Falls; Zimbabwe nestled upon a hill overlooking an ox-bow on the mighty Zambezi and surrounded by a beautiful wilderness yet barely 4kms from the mighty Victoria Falls. Guest accommodation comprises 276 rooms on 5 floors amidst extensive gardens. Room amenities include spacious Double or Twin Beds, en-suite bathrooms with flush loos, shower and bathtub, air conditioning, rotor fan, tea/coffee making machines, two armchairs and a dining area, Satellite TV, in-room phone, and a spacious balcony overlooking the natural gardens. Other resort amenities include three restaurants and dining rooms, bars, extensive lounges and sitting areas, gift shops, an activities center, a huge Swimming Pool looking out to the Zambezi, Meetings & Conference Facilities for up to 500, beautifully landscaped gardens and interiors as well as an 18-hole championship golf course; the only one in Victoria Falls.

Balance of the day spent at leisure with lunch on your own account.
You will be transferred to the jetty for a Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River in the evening.

You return to the lodge late evening for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side.

Situated in northwestern Zimbabwe on the Zambezi River, which forms the country’s natural border with Zambia and shares the falls, Victoria Falls’ Mosi oa tuna is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Comprising 5 different falls, 4 of which are in Zimbabwe and 1 in Zambia, ranging 70 to 108m deep, the 1700m wide falls, which unleash up to 550m liters of water per minute during the river’s peak flow, is the world’s largest by surface area considered one of the “Seven Natural Wonders of the World.” It is a natural magnet for tourists, thousands of whom come every year to marvel at David Livingstone’s “…scenes so lovely must have been gazed on by angels in their flight” also the local people’s ‘smoke that thunders’, enjoy sunset cruises on the Zambezi, scenic helicopter rides over the falls and one of the best bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls Bridge which joins Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe as well as DL’s statue which stands at the left end of the Falls near Devil’s Cataract. The falls’ most incredible views can be experienced from 73 stair steps down into the gorge’s base.

In the afternoon, you cross the border and continue your tour of the falls on the Zambian side.

In the evening, return to the hotel to refresh, then transfer to the Boma Restaurant for a Zimbabwean cultural dinner before returning to the resort for overnight.

After an early breakfast, 0700hrs: you drive south across the Zimbabwe/Botswana border and continue to Chobe National Park in northern Botswana’s Okavango Delta (87km/1½hrs incl. border crossing) for an all-day game viewing drive; in search of large herds of elephants (over 120,000) and cape Buffalo as well as other African terrestrials from waterbuck, lechwe, puku (this is the only part of Botswana where they can be seen), giraffe, kudu, roan antelope, sable antelope, impala, warthog, bushbuck, monkeys, and baboons, along with the accompanying predators’ lion, leopard, hyena, and jackal plus over 450 bird species.

You also get to enjoy a cruise on the Chobe River for a completely different perspective, lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge, and finish with a further game drive after lunch before heading back across the border to Victoria Falls arriving early evening for dinner and overnight.
